1. Body Awareness
Can your toddler understand where their body is in space?
If a child avoids moving between levels, independence may be limited.
2. Load Management
Can your child manage changing demands?
These activities teach the brain that things move in and out, appear and disappear, and can be controlled.
3. Midline Organization
Can your child coordinate both sides of the body?
Midline organization helps the body work as one coordinated system.
4. Gravitational Independence
Can your child move on and off the floor without help?
These transitions build independence.
5. Functional Independence
Can your child:
Potty training is often easier when these foundations are present.
