Also, other therapies focus on influencing the brain to create changes in movement. They are evaluating movements based on an end result of what should be happening in the system and, at times, forcing children in certain positions and expecting the brain to make connections. I focus on creating movement in the body to create changes in the brain.

With the cranial series it may seem like you are working on the brain, but the skeletal structure of the head is another part of the body like a leg or arm. You will be surprised with just working the head how movement is positively affected in all parts of the body.

A child can become special needs due to a lack of rotational movements, therefore, I have provided the tools you need in this course to assess the movement needs of your child and to start an at-home program to care for your child in between doctor appointments and other therapy techniques you might be doing. 

Your child can be sleeping or playing while you apply the techniques you learn in this course. If you want to get the technique down first before trying on a moving child, practice on an adult. 

Often parents get frustrated with trying to work on their child while he or she is asleep. The reality is, I went through the same thing with my son. I kept at it until I could work on him and he wouldn't wake up. You will know you are making progress with your touch when you can work on your child while he or she is asleep.
